Our final match has now been announced for our inaugural show on January 7th in Vacaville, CA. Straight from the Commissioner himself here is the announcement…
“Commissioner Blackwell here to announce the final match for our first live event on January 7, 2012 at the Georgie Duke Sports Center in Vacaville, Ca. On that night you will see Jeckles go one on one with Mikey Jay.
Jeckles is the “Crown Jewel” of the entity known as The Carnival of Shadows. Jeckles is one of the hardest hitting wrestlers in GSW today. One forearm from him is enough to black someone out and I’m sure he will be look to “black out” Mikey Jay.
Mikey Jay is just finishing up his first year as a pro wrestler and is looking to expand his competition. Mikey Jay, in the last year as really developed a great relationship with the fans. Most competitors will tend to look at Mikey Jay as an “underdog” because of his size, but they would be wrong to underestimate him. Mikey looks to prove himself by “decrowning the jewel” of The Carnival of Shadows.
What will happen on Jan 7th when these two APW Boot Camp Graduates do battle? Will Jeckles’ size and experience be Mikey’s undoing, or will “the underdog” get a surprise victory? And what factor will Darkness play as she is sure to be lurking near by? Find out on Jan 7th.”
To call this match the potential sleeper of the card would be doing a great disservice to both competitors. Jeckles is coming off of what many on the wrestling scene are calling the greatest match in the history of California Independent promotions, and Mikey Jay has really started to gain some attention and climb the proverbial ladder in his last few outings.
